PCI Polysilent, a semi-rigid sheet material, is an effective sound insulation for multi-storey, tiled floors. Polysilent separates the tiles and the adhesive bed from the substrate which reduces the transmission of impact sounds, such as footfalls, in areas where they may be a problem. Polysilent is easily cut and is laid by the fixer as part of the tile installation. The tiles are then laid upon it using appropriate PCI Tilefast adhesives.
