New PCI Latex PRO is a Smooth Operator

PCI, part of BASF Construction Chemicals (UK) Ltd, has announced the launch of new premium levelling compound PCI Latex PRO . This rapid curing professional product for fast track results produces smooth, level surfaces on a variety of substrates. It is walkable after two hours, coverable after 12 hours and has the added advantage of eliminating trowel marks that often affect other levellers.

This new two-part system has been developed specifically to meet the needs of UK and Irish customers. PCI Latex PRO is the ultimate free flowing, fast track premium bag and bottle system. PCI Latex PRO gets you results… fast!

The two-component latex levelling compound is extremely free flowing and is described by PCI’s David Foster as: “the bag and bottle system that thinks it’s a self-leveller. Although PCI Latex PRO acts like a water mix, it gives as hard a finish as an acrylic. Professional floor layers will particularly appreciate its feel and easy flow as well as the fact that it has no smell and will not show trowel marks.”

PCI Latex Pro is ideal for levelling and smoothing where textile or resilient floors, parquet or laminate are to be bonded. It is suitable for application to: cementitious, anhydrite and magnesite substrates, mastic asphalt screeds and non-absorbent surfaces and can be applied at layer thicknesses of 0.5-10 mm and for parquet or laminate flooring to be bonded at depths of 2-10 mm. It can be used on underfloor heating and is designed for exposure to chair castors at a depth of 1mm.

Low emission PCI Latex Pro is also low in chromates and because it is casein free it is appropriate for hygienic applications.
